Welcome to the Secret War

Shadowfist is the mile-a-minute, sword-clashing, butt-kicking, Uzi-spraying, boat-exploding, car-chasing, monster-crunching, Hong Kong cinematic action card game that is so epic it would take fourteen John Woos to film and a cast the likes of Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Chow Yun Fat and Michelle Yeoh. And that's just in the first five minutes!
It's like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hard Boiled, Drunken Master, Wing Chun, The Killer, Storm Riders, Heroic Trio, Iron Monkey, Supercop, Master Killer, Ballistic Kiss, and the rest of your favorite Hong Kong action films all rolled into one.
Equal opportunity butt kicking, baby!

SWS Ranking Updates
Posted by Daniel Griego on Nov 3, 2008 - 3:11 amRecently, Bruce Neiger provided me with three full Proving Ground reports from 2006 and 2007. After entering these scores into the Shadowfist website, much has changed with the rankings.
Most notably, are the remarkable ascensions of Brian Smith-Sweeney for 2006 and Jan Malina overall.
Do not panic. They are legitimate scores that were just long overdue.
Just one more reason to input game results as soon as possible...
Cheers,
~Daniel

Faction Wars at GenCon 2008!
Posted by Daniel Griego on Aug 13, 2008 - 9:08 amHere's the lowdown on Faction Wars at GenCon 2008:
1) Players use constructed single-faction decks
2) Cards can provide other factions' resources (Johnny Badhair), but cannot require a faction resource beyond the single primary (no Wedding Gifts)
3) Table placement during the tournament will be such that no two decks of the same faction will compete against each other (barring an absurd influx of a single faction).
4) The finals will consist of the top players of each faction.
5) The final winner's faction will play a substantial role in the set following Empire of Evil.
