Natural Order
Sequence 1:
Each character has cost and fighting one character than the previous character. Next card is Walker in the Purple Twilight.
Sequence 2:
The last word in each card is the first word of the next card. Next card is Legion of the Damned.
Sequence 3:
Each card has one more letter in the title than the card before it. Next card is Thunder Apprentice.
Sequence 4:
Each event targets one fewer character than the card before it. Next card is Monkey Fools the Tiger (which targets no characters.)
Sequence 5:
Each character's fighting is the cost of the next character. Next card is Jigsaw Beast (X fighting.)
Sequence 6:
Each card has a number for a designator, each number one bigger than the previous. Next card is Five Fingers of Death.
Sequence 7:
Each card effects a Designator that the next card has. The next card is Street Gang (Hood).
Sequence 8:
Each character has one more designator than the previous character. Next card is Jade Willow.
Sequence 9:
Each card does one fewer damage to sites than the previous card. Next card is Geoffrey Smythe (1 damage to sites.)
Sequence 10:
Each card pictures one more resource symbol than the card before. Next card is Path of the Storm Turtle (features 8 total resource symbols.) Interestingly, it does not matter which version of Johann Bonengel is used for the puzzle.
Unassailable Fortress
The biggest challenge presented is just how to do 70 points of damage. However, through clever use of recursion and targeting effects, it's possible to squeeze every point of damage you can get. The key challenges are getting enough power to play all your hitters, and managing to find ways to kill off your characters, which both makes Kong Jun She larger, and lets you save power.
0: Start your turn. You have 7 power.
1- Attack the Gnarled Horror with your Ice Healer. Both are smoked.
2-:Play Gao Zhang. You now have 1 power. Turn Shangshu Mansion to gain 1 power. You now have 2 power. Attack Amelia's site with Gao Zhang. You have dealt 10 damage.
3- Play Evil Twin, using Gao Zhang's discount, targeting Gao Zhang. You now have no power.
3- Play Shaolin Hoedown, give away Gao Zhang. You gain 6 power, and now have 6 power.
4- Play Demonic Plague to do 1 damage to Gao Zhang. He is now 9 fighting. Play Soul Theft on Gao Zhang(at -1 cost from the Evil Twin of Gao Zhang's ability) You now have 5 power.
5- Play Combat Courtship- Twin vs GZ. You now have 4 power. GZ dies. Gain 5 power. You now have 9 power. GZ returns to play under your control.
6: Play Under the Knife on Darkness Warriors. Attack for 5 damage. You have dealt 15 damage.
7: Play another Under the Knife to the damaged Evil Twin. The Evil Twin dies. Sacrifice the Darkness Warriors to gain a power. You now have 10 power.
8- Play Memory Reprocessing, with a discount from Gao Zhang. Play Echo Distortion, to copy the text of your Temple of the Angry Spirits onto the Obsidian Mountain. You have 9 power.
9- Attack with GZ, the Thugs, and the Wailing Apparition, for 12 damage. You have now dealt 27 damage.
10- Gzm the Thugs, and the Wailing Apparition die. From Gao Zhang's death, play Cannibal's Banquet (+3 power) and Alabaster King. You now have 12 power.
11- Attack with Alabaster King. You have dealt 37 damage.
12- Play Kong Jun She. You now have 6 power. Attack with the three Little Grasshoppers for 6 damage. You have dealt 43 damage. Play the Evil Twin from your smoked pile using the Library of Souls, targetting Kong Jun She. You now have 2 power. Attack with Kong Jun She for 11, then his evil twin for 12. You have dealt 66 damage.
13- Play a Walking Corpses for 2. You have no power. Attack for 4. You have dealt 70 damage.
