To the Shadowfist Community:
We are excited to share the news that we, Braz King and Daniel Griego, have founded a new company, Inner Kingdom Games Ltd., to carry on the Shadowfist tradition.
Inner Kingdom Games will be looking for every opportunity to support the Shadowfist community and to expand and enhance the game. We want to walk that fine line between satisfying the (often competing) needs and priorities of diehard players and making the game as easy to get into as possible. We have no illusions that we will be able to make everyone completely happy all of the time, but we look forward to bringing the fun and camaraderie of Shadowfist to as many people as we can!
We want to thank Zev Shlasinger for his ten years of commitment to Shadowfist and for bringing one of the best CCGs ever made back to life! We also thank the many volunteers who contributed to the design, playtesting, demoing, local leagues and tournaments, and for just plain enjoying the game! Many hands contributed to every aspect of the game and the community.
Special, well-deserved mention goes to Julian Lighton, Gavin Edwards, and Brian Smith-Sweeney for spearheading Shadowfist Games and keeping up the momentum over the last three years. To Allen Hege for his tireless efforts in supporting playgroups and retailers. To Earl Miles for getting the new website up and running. To Eric Lui and Stefan Vincent for their essential fan sites.

* We are beginning work on a new booster set featuring Hong Kong in the modern juncture. The Dragons and the Ascended reach a cautious détente, the Hong Kong sewers are crawling with demons and cannibals, doomsday cultists predict (and encourage) the end of the world, while operatives, agents, spies, and soldiers of all factions scrap and scheme to chip away at the Dragons’ dominance.
* We will be doing a ransom reprint of Seven Masters vs. the Underworld. You will be able to make an order on the Shadowfist website. We will provide more detail here and on the website with the ransom target number and the timeline.
* We are also in the planning stages for a “best of” set that will cover the full history of Shadowfist. It will include reprints, errata versions of traditional cards that can be good with a few tweaks, and hopefully some alternative art versions of old favourites. The goal will be to create an entry product for new players while also supporting and encouraging draft. We are currently envisioning releasing this as boosters and random starters, like the original Limited/Standard set. Stay tuned here and to the Yahoo! forum for more information.
